IRS GROUP GAINS A MAJORITY SHAREHOLDING IN KAROSSERIE & LACKIER CENTRUM VÖGELI
Karosserie- und Lackier- Centrum Vögeli e. K. in Bonn has been part of the IRS Group since 1 December 2019. All of Managing Director Dirk Vögeli’s 45-strong team will from now on operate within the IRS Group under the new name “Vögeli Schadenzentrum”. For more than 50 years, the Auto Centrum Vögeli has been characterised by its quality workmanship, full service and personal support. The company will celebrate its 55th anniversary in 2020. From repair work and post-accident repairs to car maintenance and mechanics, the company covers all aspects of motor vehicle care. The company even has its own tyre centre on the premises. As a certified partner of TESLA, the Vögeli Schadenzentrum places great value on sustainability and obtains its electricity from renewable sources. The Auto Centrum Vögeli has received multiple awards such as Workshop Business of the Year as well as being the winner of the Ludwig prize 2019 in the corporate growth category.
The IRS Group now has over 140 sites and more than 2,000 employees in Germany, Denmark and Sweden and is Europe’s leader in smart repairs, bodywork, paint repairs and hail damage repairs to the vehicle’s outer shell. The IRS network offers a complete range of services on every aspect of preparation and repair to the vehicle’s outer shell and interior for second-hand, rental, accident-damaged and leased vehicles.
With the acquisition of Karosserie & Lackier Centrum Vögeli e. K., the IRS Group has gained another body repair and paint shop, steeped in tradition, in North Rhine-Westphalia.. This helps the group to continue to strengthen its expertise as a leading service provider of smart repairs, bodywork and paint repairs and to consistently pursue the expansion of its leading market position.
