IRS GROUP GAINS A MAJORITY SHAREHOLDING IN FINK GMBH
Fink GmbH Karosserie-Lackier-Center, with its registered office in Neustadt an der Weinstraße, has been part of the IRS Group since 31 July 2019. As an expert partner for bodywork and paintwork, Fink GmbH is one of the leading companies for bodywork, paintwork and accident repairs in Neustadt and the surrounding area. The company was founded more than 100 years ago, and is one of the oldest and best-known specialist firms in the entire region. Even after it became part of the IRS Group, the company continues to be managed by Claus Fink as head of the subsidiary.
The IRS Group is Europe’s leader in smart repairs, bodywork, paint repairs and hail damage repairs to the vehicle’s outer shell. It offers a complete range of services on every aspect of preparation and repair to the vehicle’s outer shell and interior for second-hand, rental, accident-damaged and leased vehicles. The group currently employs more than 1,800 people.
The acquisition of Fink GmbH Karosserie-Lackier-Center further strengthens the expertise of the IRS Group in bodywork, paintwork and accident repairs and enhances its regional positioning, giving it an additional presence in Rhineland-Palatinate.
Sancovia initiated the transaction and advised the buyer throughout the entire process.
