ALTANO GROUP NOW HAS A MAJORITY SHARE IN PFERDEKLINIK DESTEDT
The new Altano member, Pferdeklinik Gut Destedt based in Lower Saxony, serves customers from the Greater Hannover area. Founded in 1997, the clinic has a state-of-the-art operating room, a dental ward, two treatment rooms and 10 horse stalls, one of which can be used as an isolation stall. The team led by Managing Director Dr. Rüdiger Beier and his wife Dr. Ing. Monica Venner, consists of 16 employees, including 8 veterinarians, and looks after approx. 3,200 horses and 600 small animals each year. Thanks to its ambulant service and in-patient treatments, the clinic is able to cover the entire spectrum of equine medicine. The veterinarians offer treatments of the highest medical standards in the fields of internal medicine, gynaecology, foal medicine, dentistry, ophthalmology and surgery. The clinic also has a small animal practice, where it works together with a network of external specialists to ensure optimal care.
