UFENAU CAPITAL PARTNERS ACQUIRES ALTANO GROUP
The Swiss investment group Ufenau Capital Partners has taken a majority shareholding in Altano Gruppe GmbH in close collaboration with the previous owner. Altano Gruppe GmbH is one of the largest and most renowned equine clinics in Germany. The clinic was founded in 1961 in Appelhülsen. Since 1997, it has been located in the converted listed buildings of the former Carthusian monastery in Dülmen. With 52 vets, experienced specialists and assistants as well as the latest technical equipment, the animal clinic offers all diagnostic and therapeutic measures in the field of equine medicine.
As part of the acquisition of the veterinary clinic Domäne Karthaus, Ufenau Capital Partners is investing in a highly modern clinic for veterinary medicine. In collaboration with the management team, the intention is to further extend the clinic group as part of a buy and build strategy and occupy a leading position in the field of equine medicine in the DACH region.
