SWISS IT SECURITY GROUP ACQUIRES A MAJORITY SHARE IN AV-TEST
Swiss IT Security Group (SITS Group) has acquired AV-TEST GmbH, based in Magdeburg. AV-Test was founded in 2004 and is a specialised provider in the testing and certification of IT security solutions. It has since developed into a global market leader with more than 30 highly qualified employees.
“For us, it has always been clear that we would like to evolve our company and support our customers with additional services. As part of the Swiss IT Security Group, we have broader possibilities to offer our customers new and complementary services around IT security. By acquiring AV-Test GmbH, Swiss IT Security Group has added another established IT security service provider in Saxony-Anhalt. The group thereby further strengthens its competence as a leading IT security service provider and pursues the continuous expansion of its market position.
