LAVATIO GROUP GAINS A MAJORITY SHAREHOLDING IN WÄSCHEREI COLONIA
The Lavatio Group has gained a majority shareholding in Wäscherei Colonia GmbH & Co. KG. The company, founded in 1993, is based in Cologne-Marsdorf and its core competencies lie in the professional processing of hotel and catering linen, workwear and the special requirements of the medical sector (healthcare). Furthermore, the industrial laundry, which is equipped with the latest in laundry technology, is a powerful and reliable partner in linen hire and rental in the above sectors.
The Lavatio Group is a leading group of textiles service providers with industrial laundries in German-speaking countries. The group rents out and washes a variety of textiles as a full-service provider. This primarily includes bedlinen, table linen and towels for the hotel, restaurant and catering sector, as well as for care homes and healthcare facilities, and individual personal laundry for care homes and healthcare facilities and workwear for industry and commerce. The Lavatio Group has its origins in Kruppert Wäsche-Dienst GmbH, one of Germany’s most modern industrial laundries with over 115 employees at its head office in Hünfeld and its registered office in Baar in Switzerland.
The acquisition of Wäscherei Colonia GmbH & Co. KG has strengthened the regional presence of the Lavatio Group in the Rhineland, and fully implemented its goal of expanding into a leading position in the textile services sector.
