LAVATIO TAKES A SHARE IN RUCK TEXTILE DIENSTLEISTUNGEN
Ruck GmbH Textile Dienstleistungen was acquired as the most recent member of the Lavatio Group.
Since its foundation in 1939, the family-owned laundry company Ruck, employing some 120 staff, has been supplying perfectly prepared laundry and clothing. The Freiburg-based company, with its large catchment area stretching to the east as far as Friedrichshafen, to the north as far as Karlsruhe and to the south as far as the Swiss border, services care homes, clinics, hotels, industry and the trade. Ruck is recognised in the region as the leading provider for laundry and textile hire services. Working on an equal footing with customers and suppliers, their aim is always to supply better textiles at the same price or ensure an economically and ecologically more sustainable outcome through greater durability or better suitability.
The Lavatio Group is one of the leading laundry groups in German-speaking countries. The group rents out and washes a variety of textiles as a full-service provider. This primarily includes bedlinen, table linen and towels for the hotel, restaurant and catering sector, individual personal laundry for care homes and healthcare facilities and professional clothing for industry and commerce. The Lavatio Group has its origins in Kruppert Wäschedienste, one of Germany’s most modern laundries with over 115 employees at its head office in Hünfeld and its registered office in Baar in Switzerland.
The acquisition of Ruck GmbH Textile Dienstleistungen has strengthened the regional presence of the Lavatio Group in the Freiburg region and on Lake Constance and fully implemented its expansion into a leading position in the textile services sector.
