IRS GROUP GAINS A MAJORITY SHAREHOLDING IN FAHRZEUGKLINIK GMBH
Fahrzeugklinik GmbH has been contributing its expertise and 57-strong team to the IRS Group since July 2019. Fahrzeugklinik GmbH was founded in Hattingen, in the southern part of the Ruhr region, in 2008 and is the first member of the IRS Group to have its registered office in North-Rhine Westphalia. Fahrzeugklinik sees itself as a community of professionals in the fields of bodywork, paintwork and accident damage repairs, with its focus on the customer and their satisfaction. Its owner, Thorsten Podlech, will remain in his role as head of Fahrzeugklinik, with this company trading under the name “Hattingen Schadenzentrum” in future.
The IRS Group is Europe’s leader in smart repairs, bodywork, paint repairs and hail damage repairs to the vehicle’s outer shell. It offers a complete range of services on every aspect of preparation and repair to the vehicle’s outer shell and interior for second-hand, rental, accident-damaged and leased vehicles. The group currently employs more than 1,800 people.
Fahrzeugklinik GmbH strengthens and perfectly complements the IRS Group’s portfolio through its comprehensive range of services for bodywork, paintwork and accident repairs, and also with respect to its regional presence, as the first member of the IRS Group in North-Rhine Westphalia.
Sancovia initiated the transaction and advised the buyer throughout the entire process.
