IRS GROUP ACQUIRES MARCO WEDEREIT KAROSSERIE- UND LACKIERFACHBETRIEB
The Intelligent Repair Solutions Group (IRS Group) has acquired a majority shareholding in the Marco Wedereit body and paint shop. Founded in 1995, the Aglasterhausen-based company has been a member of the IRS Group since January 2020. Marco Wedereit Karosserie- und Lackierfachbetrieb is a modern, certified bodywork and paint shop and is one of the quality leaders in the Neckar-Odenwald district.
The IRS Group now has over 140 sites and more than 2,000 employees in Germany, Denmark, Sweden, and Belgium and is Europe’s leader in smart repairs, bodywork, paint repairs and hail damage repairs to the vehicle’s outer shell. With the acquisition of Marco Wedereit Karosserie- und Lackierfachbetrieb from Aglasterhausen, the IRS Group is growing by another traditional company in Baden-Württemberg. In this way, the Group further strengthens its competence as a leading service provider in the fields of Smart Repair, bodywork and paint repairs and pursues consistently the expansion of its leading market position.
