IRS GROUP AQUIRES F. SCHLIEßAS IN VIERSEN
Since 1st of August 2020, F. Schließas GmbH & Co. KG in Viersen is the latest member of the IRS Group. 20 members of the team around the new branch manager Frank Schließas will now offer their vehicle repair services under the new company name “IRS Schließas”. Over the past 30 years, the family business has been developing from a traditional craftsman’s business into a service-oriented service company that offers more than just accident repair. In addition to high-quality bodywork and painting services, Schließas also provides frame straightening, wheel alignment, car glass replacement or repair, smart repair services and much more. Modern workshop equipment and communication processes guarantee short repair times.
The IRS Group now has more than 140 locations and more than 2,200 employees in Germany and Europe. This makes it the European leader in the fields of Smart Repair, bodywork and paint repairs, as well as hail damage repair of vehicle exteriors.
With this merger, the IRS Group is growing by another traditional body and paint shop in the Lower Rhine region of North Rhine-Westphalia. The group thus further strengthens its competence as a leading service provider in the fields of smart repair, bodywork and paint repairs in Western Germany and consistently pursues the expansion of its leading market position.
