IRS GROUP ACQUIRES AUTO-GAUSS GMBH IN PFORZHEIM
On 01.02.2021, Auto-Gauss GmbH from Pforzheim became part of the IRS Group. Since its foundation over 40 years ago, the family business has developed into the leading company in the Pforzheim area. From now on, the 30-strong team will offer vehicle repair services under the new name “IRS Gauss”, managed by Yvonne and Karl-Otto Gauss, who will continue to run the business under the umbrella of the IRS Group.
On more than 2,000 square meters of workshop space in Pforzheim, many long-serving employees guarantee the company’s high-quality standards with their craftsmanship. Continuous investments in workshop equipment are the basis for the high standard of service in Pforzheim. As a result of the pronounced service orientation, customer satisfaction is very high, which the Gauss couple explains as follows: “Satisfied customers emerge only from those who are enthusiastic about their service themselves”.
“Auto-Gauss has an excellent reputation in the industry and is further expanding the strong position of IRS in the southwest of Germany,” says Managing Director Frank Gerardy. With the new location in Pforzheim, IRS now has 30 bodywork and paint locations in Germany and continues to consistently focus on growth.
The IRS Group now has more than 150 locations and more than 2,200 employees in Germany and Europe. This makes the group a European leader in the areas of Smart Repair, bodywork and paint repairs, as well as hail damage repair of vehicle exteriors.
