We are looking for a new Senior Associate to join our buy-side team in Madrid.

Tasks

  • Actively identify and assess potential target investment companies based on defined acquisition strategies
  • Conduct thorough research and strategic analysis on selected targets, including financials, market positioning, and competitive landscape
  • Prepare and review company profiles, market and sector reports, information memorandums and transaction documentation
  • Collaborate closely with partners and senior team members in marketing and origination activities
  • Prepare and assess historical and projected financial statements, including business plan plausibility checks
  • Analyze the financial implications of mergers and acquisitions, perform scenario analysis and interpret financial KPIs
  • Conduct and supervise valuation analysis

Requirements

  • A highly effective team player and motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills, commercial awareness and strategic thinking
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentational, adaptability and time management skills
  • Holds strong academic qualifications, including a completed university degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, M&A, transaction services, consulting or private Equity
  • Proven track record of transaction involvement and the ability to manage workstreams independently
  • Deep understanding of finance and accounting; able to challenge financial assumptions
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
